Charles is a native of Fresno, CA where he was an active member of the West Fresno Boys and Girls Club from the age of 10 - 17. There were after-school programs, sports leagues, summer camps and countless other activities that he participated in over the years. He was coached and mentored by the most caring staff in the world and has maintained friendships with both the staff and Boys and Girls Club members to this very day.

Charles joined the BGCCC board in 2021. He has a lifelong passion for coaching and developing young people through leadership opportunities and youth sports. He volunteers at Microsoft’s Digi-Girlz events (a program designed to expose middle school aged girls to careers in technology), he’s a coach and board member with The 1st Tee of Sacramento, on the board for the Juvenile Hall Auxiliary of Contra Costa County, and has coached youth recreational and club teams for basketball and soccer.

On the professional side, Charles is a seasoned software sales executive with over 25 years of sales and sales management experience. He has worked at Microsoft for the past 8 years and leads a team of sales professionals focused on presenting Microsoft’s Cloud offerings to some of its largest customers in North and South America. Prior to Microsoft, Charles held similar roles at Salesforce, J.P. Morgan and American Express.
